Victron BatteryProtect 12/24V 65A
Code: VICTRON-BATPROT-12-24V-65AProduct detailed description
Key Features:
12/24V automatic measurement
BatteryProtect automatically detects the system voltage
Easy programming
BatteryProtect can be set to turn on/off at several different voltages.
A seven-segment display shows which setting has been selected.
Special setting for Li-ion batteries
In this mode, BatteryProtect can be controlled by a VE.Bus BMS system.
Very low current consumption
Important for Li-ion batteries, especially after low voltage shutdown.
Overvoltage protection
To prevent damage to sensitive loads due to overvoltage, the load is disconnected whenever the DC voltage exceeds 16 V or 32 V.
Ignition resistance
No relays, but MOSFET switches, so no sparks
Delayed alarm output
The alarm output is triggered if the battery voltage drops below the set disconnection level for more than 12 seconds, except when starting the engine. It is an open collector output that is short-circuit-proof to the negative rail with a maximum current of 50 mA. This output typically activates devices such as buzzers, LEDs or relays.
Delayed load disconnection and delayed reconnection
The load is disconnected 90 seconds after the alarm is activated. If the battery voltage rises to the reconnect threshold within this window (e.g. after starting the engine), the load remains connected. Reconnection occurs 30 seconds after the battery voltage exceeds the set reconnect threshold.
