Crystalline panel

Crystalline panels are one of the main types of photovoltaic panels used to generate electricity from solar radiation. These panels are assembled from many solar cells that are made of crystalline silicon.

There are two main types of crystalline solar panels:

1. Monocrystalline solar panels: these panels are made from a single, continuous crystal of silicon. They are known for their high efficiency and long lifetime. The distinguishing feature of these panels is the black colour and the chamfered edges.

2. Polycrystalline solar panels: these panels are made of multiple pieces of silicon that are fused together. They are less efficient than monocrystalline panels but are cheaper to produce. These panels are easily recognized by their bluish tint.
