SNAPINVERTER TECHNOLOGY
The new generation of SnapINverter inverters features a simple installation system that makes installation and maintenance easier than ever before. A special design feature of these devices is the separation of the connection and power parts. Each is installed separately. The extremely lightweight connection part, including all cables, is first mounted on the wall. Then the power part is mounted. Innovative The swivel concept makes installation and service extremely convenient for the user. The inverter is simply hung in the wall bracket and then locked. In the event of service intervention, it is therefore not necessary to dismantle the entire inverter, but only its power section. All cabling remains intact.
INTEGRATED DATA COMMUNICATION
We are the first inverter manufacturer to offer a data communication package with fully integrated data logging, WLAN and Ethernet technologies, energy management, web server and numerous interfaces. This allows the inverter to be connected to the Internet via a network cable or WLAN (without additional cables) and provides an optimal overview of the operation of the photovoltaic system. Connection to third-party components is ensured by interfaces such as Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU SunSpec or Fronius Solar API ( JSON). In addition, open interfaces can be used in parallel to access the Fronius Solar.web software.
SUPERFLEX DESIGN
The Fronius SuperFlex Design technology offers a sophisticated combination of technical parameters that now allow you to set up your photovoltaic systems much more flexibly and easily. The most important performance factors of the SuperFlex Design technology are: Two MPP trackers in combination with a high system voltage and a wide DC input voltage range. In addition, each DC input, and therefore each MPP tracker, can receive the full rated power of the inverter at any time. With different roof orientations, shielding can be used via one or two branches or even using the remaining panels.
DYNAMIC PEAK MANAGER
The Dynamic Peak Manager is a new MPP tracking algorithm that dynamically adapts the behavior to find the optimal operating point. What is special is that the Dynamic Peak Manager algorithm automatically checks the entire characteristic curve regularly and can therefore find the global maximum power point (GMPP) even in partial shading.
SMART GRID READY
Fronius inverters are ready for the Smart Grid technology of the future. The inverters are perfectly equipped for future requirements in the field of grid technology. The devices are equipped with a number of intelligent functions, so-called Advanced Grid Features. These are various control functions for the optimal supply of reactive and active power to the grid. The aim of these functions is to enable safe grid operation even with a very high density of photovoltaic cells. And also to prevent unwanted interruptions in the power supply due to exceeding the grid parameter limits and the associated loss of profit. With Fronius inverters, the yield of the photovoltaic system is therefore optimally secured. In addition, Fronius inverters can also be used to dynamically regulate the power supply to the grid, taking into account your own consumption in the event of supply restrictions. Simply connect an electricity meter and set the supply restriction.
ZERO TRANSPORT
Electricity grid operators in many countries are increasingly demanding the option of limiting the supply of photovoltaic energy to the grid as a condition for grid connection. With dynamic power limitation, Fronius offers a solution for optimally managing the power supply to the grid. The inverter first supplies power to the household appliances. It then limits the power to the maximum power allowed by the grid operator. This function also makes zero feed-in possible with Fronius inverters. This means that no current is fed into the grid and the grid operator's requirements can be met by simply setting it in the inverter's web interface.
ACTIVE COOLING
Active cooling technology uses one or more fans to prevent local overheating and at the same time regulate the air circulation inside the inverter. This keeps the power electronics at a low temperature, which leads to a longer service life, optimal yield and lower costs. At Fronius, active cooling is the technological standard for all devices.
