Situation and challenge
Our corporate building in the Slovak Republic has a roof area of 600 m² and consumes approximately 50 MWh of electricity per year. To reduce our energy consumption and at the same time confirm our commitment to sustainability, we decided to install solar panels.
Planning and technology selection
After extensive analysis, we decided to install a 36 kWp photovoltaic system. We chose panels from Canadian Solar and an inverter from GoodWe, known for their high efficiency and reliability.
Installation
The entire installation process was fast and efficient, thanks to our in-house team of experts. The installation took a total of two weeks and the system was then successfully connected to the network.
Results
50% reduction in energy costs
Our annual electricity costs have been reduced by around 50%, allowing us to reinvest in further projects.
40 TON reduction in CO2 emissions
By implementing photovoltaic panels, we have reduced CO2 emissions by 40 tonnes per year, supporting our environmental goals.
4 years return on investment
We expect to recover our investment in the system within 4 years, confirming the financial viability of the project.
